We Drove down to San Mateo to Gilmore and Associates, to meet some old friends. They were all very thank full to have Asher come and "crawl" their floors clean. He also was put to work filling.

Asher's so excited to be on his first camping trip to Pinnacles National Monument, especially since his good buddy Jack was there.

Asher was a BIG help putting up the tents.

Mom and Asher enjoying the nice shade. The weather was very hot and there wasn't much shade. We had to keep moving the chairs every few minutes to keep them in the shade.

No one told me camping was so exhausting.

We went on a cool hike through some big rocks. Asher loves to hike, especially when he gets to ride on Mom's back. Best seat in the house..or forest.

That was the longest two day camping trip of my life. I'll help pack up by putting this container in my mouth.

Gage at Three weeks old, is the baby of our friends Ryan and Katie. He is so little I(Jeannine) could barely rememeber what babies this small need. It was fun to compare Asher, and relize that I have no memory of him ever having been so small.

Life is still going on as usual. Asher is getting more silly each day. His new thing is making noises with his tongue, and we are on the look out for a tooth.

May 3, we spent the day in SF, we took BART, Grandma Sharon got to wear Asher.
He wasn't quite crawling, but he was lunging, trying to go swimming.

Asher got to play in the sand and with trucks, and Maia's sunglass ( a non toy) at a park in Albany. His friends Jack and Sabina where there too, but I need permission from there parents before I post there pictures on this blog.

Asher the Foodie

Yesterday Mom and Asher went to Whole Foods to get dinner fixings. While there, Asher got to ride in a shopping cart for the first time. Two good thins, 1.) There is a seat belt and 2.) Asher loves to people watch, so the trip was pretty easy for mom. One thing that was a little difficult is that Asher liked to touch everything, and has a pretty good reach! Note: He did not lick, chew or suck on the the cart!

Okay, This is the first posting to our new blog. It's a little late but better than never. This incarnation of the Cohen Family blog came about because we were trying to email a video with little success. Anyway...

Okay, get ready to be amazed. It has now been officially documented. On May 3, 2008 at Six months 12 days, Asher took his first crawling steps. The next day we captured it on video. The first reaction was excitement, then horror as we realized that now the real work begins.
